چکیده
Abstract The modern concepts of magmatic plumbing systems have evolved from simple models melt-dominated crustal magma chambers to that span the continental crust. geochemistry these is challenging model numerically because a complex polybaric and multiphase evolution, which not well described by mathematic end-member formulas. We propose recent modelling tool, Magma Chamber Simulator (MCS), can reveal part petrological complexities such systems. MCS phase equilibria, mineral chemistry major trace elements in multicomponent–multiphase finding extremes appropriate state functions. This study presents new petrographical geochemical data Palaeoproterozoic Gallujavri ultramafic intrusion Karasjok Greenstone Belt, Arctic Norway. Our indicate (1) affected assimilation, (2) equilibria require crystallisation (3) spinel compositions are similar sub-volcanic intrusions flood basalt provinces. utilise simulate petrogenesis test comparing it against our reported data. shows parental consistent with coeval Karasjok-type komatiites observed at various places throughout greenstone belt. Granodiorite and dioritic intrusive rocks (Middle Eocene age) intruded the Lower-Middle Eocene volcanic rocks at the northern parts of the Torud-Chah Shirin volcano-plutonic belt in north east of Iran. This granodiorite is intruded by small rhyolitic dome in the Damghan turquoise-gold mine. According to all data, these intrusive rocks are related to a common source. The primary magma evolved by...
متن کاملfor a crustal magma reservoir beneath the upper east rift
An anomalous body with low Vp (compressional wave velocity), low Vs (shear wave velocity), and high Vp/Vs anomalies is observed at 8–11 km depth beneath the upper east rift zone of Kilauea volcano in Hawaii by simultaneous inversion of seismic velocity structure and earthquake locations. We interpret this body to be a crustal magma reservoir beneath the volcanic pile, similar to those widely re...

متن کاملA reverse energy cascade for crustal magma transport
Direct constraints on the ascent, storage and eruption of mantle melts come primarily from exhumed, long-frozen intrusions. These structures, relics of a dynamic magma transport network, encode how Earth’s crust grows and di erentiates over time. Furthermore, they connect mantle melting to an evolving distribution of surface volcanism. Disentangling magma transport processes from the plutonic r...
